Robinson Crusoe: Chapter Two: I Am Captured by Pirates
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

In chapter two of Robinson Crusoe...Crusoe leaves his friends and goes to London, where he meets a sea captain that convinces him to go on a merchant ship. He carries some trading goods and money to sell and buy things. Looking at his success on his last voyage, he decides to go on another one. This time, though, his ship is overtaken by a group of pirates near North Africa. Crusoe is enslaved. He is assigned the job of fishing by the captain because of his skills...

I think I like this chapter even better than the first one. In this chapter the action starts and the conflict is introduced. Crusoe is captured and enslaved. It is his mission to get out alive.

                                                          Crusoe is captured...

Chapter one of Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe is about A young man named Robinson Crusoe who records his life. He has two older brothers, one is a soldier, and the other vanished mysteriously. He wants to go to sea, but his father, a German man, and his mother are greatly against it. After one of his friends goes on a voyage, he decides it is time to. He boards the ship. Later that day a very bad storm comes, so bad that he fears his own life. The ship barely makes it. His friend's father suggests that he doesn't board another ship...

It takes a while to get into the action of most books, but this book caught my attention right when I started reading. I am very excited to read on to see what happens next!                                                Robinson Crusoe  shipwrecked....
